In our back-country wilderness camps.
Take a step back in time and enjoy the country just as the
early travelers did. Our camps provide maximum comfort without,
spoiling the tranquility of the wilderness. Come stay in our
canvas cabins furnished with comfortable cots, foam pads, floors
and wood stoves. Start your trip by coming into our camp, in the evening for a good old fashion Dutch Oven dinner. Then settle in and get ready for you wilderness adventure! Meet you hosts, guides, and the most important your mount (horse or mule) for your trip. Wake in the morning to the smell of coffee brewing and breakfast being cooked. As you venture out of your tent, you may even surprise a deer sneaking through camp. Enjoy the thrill of helping your guide ready your horse for the days adventure. Or just kick back and relax while your guide readies your horse for the day. Then pack up your gear and off down the trail for the days adventure Take in the beauty of the whispering pines, crystal clear streams, and many different species of beautiful wildflowers. There are several lakes we visit, all full of scrappy trout. If fishing is your pleasure. After your days adventure we will return to camp which is nestled along a grassy meadow with a peaceful stream flowing through it. After a wonderful Dutch Oven dinner, set back and enjoy the Blue Jays and camp robbers looking for a handout. It is hard to resist the warm glow and radiant heat of the open campfire. As the day draws into a spectacular night with the sky so full of stars, that seem so close you can almost reach out and touch them. You might even hear a distant howl of coyote or a wolf as the night brings the end to another wonderful day in Idaho. |
