NEZ PERCE FOREST

  Our guides have found that they enjoy helping somebody get their animal as much as they do pulling the trigger themselves. Of coarse, a quality hunt also features such traits as friendly capable and knowledgeable guides, excellent meals and lodging. Our reputation is very important to us, and we strive very hard to maintain it. Although we can't guarantee success on any hunt for big game, we can promise our best effort. It is very important for you to tell us what you expect so we can guide you toward the hunt that offers the best opportunity to achieve your goals. Depending on which camp you are in, will determine your arrival time. The first day is spent getting into camp, and settling in to your canvas cabin for the week. Each morning you'll awake to hot coffee and a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, before first light, you and your guide will mount up and ride to the area that was decided on to hunt that day. From there you will hunt on foot. We provide a sack lunch for the day w/treats. After a long day of hunting, you will return to camp around or after dark, to a piping hot, delicious western style meal.
On our hunts, you have the option to hunt elk, deer, bear, and cougar all the species at the same time or any combination of. The season starts during the elk rut, (Mid September) and runs through the Deer rut and the elk migration to their wintering grounds, (mid November)  with any weapon. With excellent elk hunting the entire 66 days of the season.

We limit our deluxe guided hunts to 4 clients, per camp. Except the two hunts in October where we hunt two separate units, we reserve the option of 8 hunters in camp. Hunts are 2 clients per guide. 1 on 1 hunts are available if you choose.
 All three camps are private camps reserved for Wind River Outfitters by U.S. Forest Service, this does not give us exclusive right to the land. We do, however, have exclusive right to the area for commercial outfitting.

ACCOMMODATIONS IN OUR DELUXE CAMPS

We furnish all meals, (from dinner the first day through breakfast the last day). Meals provided: a hot breakfast,  a sack lunch, and a hot home cooked meal for Dinner. We provide canvas cabins furnished with vinyl floors, cots w/foam pads, and a wood stove for your comfort. There is a hot shower in our guided camps for after those hard days of hunting.
